Fire Chief Larry Alcorn
Chief Alcorn started as a cadet in the fire service in 1977 and became a firefighter in 1981. He has held the ranks of firefighter, lieutenant, captain, battalion chief, and division chief. Chief Alcorn was appointed to the position of Fire Chief on January 1, 2007. Chief Alcorn is a lifelong resident of Wayne Township and has spent his entire adult life protecting the community in which he grew up. Chief Alcorn also serves as the chairman of the Marion County Fire Chiefs Communications Group.

Deputy Chief John Garino
Chief Garino started as a recruit firefighter for the Wayne Township Fire Department in January 1983 for the fire station at 10th and Girl School Road, then called Station Nine. . He has held the ranks of firefighter, lieutenant, captain, battalion chief. Chief Garino was appointed to the position of Deputy Chief in January of 2007. Chief Garino lives on the west side of Indianapolis, and is involved in his church and the Ben Davis Little League.
Deputy Chief Matt Stewart
Chief Stewart has 23 years in the fire service, and has held the ranks of firefighter, engineer, lieutenant, captain and battalion chief. He is currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Operations. He is a Firefighter II and a Fire Officer II, Paramedic, Georgia Smoke Diver, and serves on Indiana Task Force 1. He also works with the IndyCar Series as a paramedic.
