Wayne Township Support Services is responsible for the care and up keep of our emergency vehicle fleet and building and grounds maintenance of the fire stations and headquarters. The maintenance facility has 3 drive thru bays and one smaller standard bay. 2 of the bays are equipped with lifts and one has a maintenance pit under it for service work. The Vehicle Maintenance staff provides maintenance services for other local fire departments in addition to Wayne Township. Additionally, classroom space in this building is used by the recruit academy for ease of access to the adjacent training grounds. All of Wayne Township’s reserve apparatus is stored here until needed, as well.
