Courtney Rice

Wayne Township Fire Department would like to introduce you to one of our new firefighter recruits. 35 year old Michael Beisel comes from a firefighting family here in Indianapolis. His father served 30+ years with the Pike township Fire Department and Mike has been following in his footsteps. Mike has been serving the Pittsboro Fire Department as a full time firefighter, and also working as a part time firefighter at Madison Twp. in Morgan County. Mike also served at Wayne Township from 2005 to 2018.

Mike has been married to his wife, Tomisue, for six years, and they have two children. Mike is excited to return to Wayne Township, saying “the training and professionalism are top notch, the standard is high and everyone knows that. I’m beyond excited to return to Wayne Township as a career firefighter.”
