The Public Education Division of the Wayne Township Fire Department actively promotes fire safety and risk reduction programming to the township’s community. Our department serves schools, church organizations, businesses, service clubs, non-profit organizations, assisted living and nursing home facilities, and other fire departments to offer impactful and meaningful lessons regarding fire safety and risk reduction.
If you are interested in partnering with our Public Educator for fire safety lessons, demonstrations, or community events, please fill out the interest form below and a representative will reach out to you soon.
Public Education Resources for Schools
We have created mini-lesson plans that offer a video, talking points, and an interactive assortment of activities for educators to incorporate into school days. The topics range from how to call 911, to what a firefighter wears when fighting fire. Feel free to download each mini-lesson plan as needed.
