Thirty year old Marcus Gruner joined the ranks of Wayne Township’s newest recruit school from Columbus Fire Department. A member of a firefighting family, Marcus has always wanted to be a firefighter, particularly wanting to be a part of something bigger than himself, that also challenges him to be better every day.
Marcus is married to wife, Cayle, and has one daughter, Natalie. He chose Wayne Township to be a part of a busy department that maintained a tight-knit family atmosphere, remarking that the department has set high standards and expectations, and maintains a good reputation in the firefighting community.
